With no formal Economics training, he needed to develop a working understanding of both macro and microeconomic principles and fast!
Through an intensive six-week programme, Steve gained the knowledge and analytical framework to make more informed, confident business decisions in a rapidly changing economic landscape.
Steve came to More Than Just Tuition a few years into his career as a succesful business owner working in the FinTech space. He had some understanding of Economics despite having never been formally taught the subject. He wanted to gain a working understanding of Economics to make better decisions that would reinforce stability in his business in the advent of of changing geopolitical and economic environments.
Our solution was to provide an intensive package of 9 hours tutoring a week for 6 weeks to get Steeve's knowledge of Economics up to a proficent and conversational standard. Allowing Steeve to make informed business decisions while taking into account various Macro and Microeconomic influences.

I started More Than Just Tuition because students deserve more than just being taught the syllabus. After five years and over 2000 hours of teaching across the EMEA region, with every 2024 student achieving A grades or above, I realised my approach needed to reach more students.
Having achieved AAA* at A-Level (including Economics) and currently studying for a First Class degree in Economics and Development at the University of Manchester, I understand what it takes to excel academically.
But I also know education isn't just about exams & academics, it's about preparing for adulthood. By 22, I'd worked at a global bank, a cryptocurrency startup, an NGO in Uganda, and the University of Manchester itself. Now, I use that experience to help students progress beyond learning towards life.
